How do I manually get my note 2 into car mode?, I made a custom window mount the works with my otter box case, using the holster.

you will need an app to get it there, as there isn't a "Car Mode" setting or app built-in like in the Froyo/Gingerbread days.

Try Car Home Ultra or iBolt Dock n' Drive. both are in the Play Store.
