Car dock How does this work?

Ok so i spent the money for the car cradle. Its just a piece of plastic, the phone doesnt CONNECT to it in anyway, yet when you put your phone in it it knows and switches to the CAR HOME view. How the heck?

There is a Magnet in the Dock....The same for the Multimedia Dock, Just in a differnt location.

hahahahaha kinda funny Well "Backnblack" basically said it...magnets on the docks make magnets on the back of the droid under the camera to change.

It's not about the location of the magnet , it's about polarization .

I recomend homemade droid docks on this forum and maybe youtube these guys have done some amazing creations and it will teach you exactly how the magnet polarity works with droid very simple intuitive thing from motorola I believe only DROID DOES but I may be wrong
