Can't upload or down load email photos...

I am a recent Motorola Droid user using Yahoo for my email. When I try to attach a photo to an email, the loading "logo" comes up, but it never uploads.
When I try to download a photo from an email, the download bar never goes past 0%.
I am using theYahoo mail app...
