Can't sync any media

Whenever I plug the phone in and open up motorola media link, it won't connect. It will briefly then disconnect. Then when I go try to open up any thing on the SD card the phone tells me that there isn't an SD card inside.

When I check the space in the settings, it says unknown. I pull the battery and it detects the SD card again but as soon as I plug it into the computer, it happens again.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I dumped Motorola's media service and tried doubletwist, appears to be working...although it's extremely slow.

If you want to give the motorola media synch a try you need to change the usb connection mode.

By default you have it on "USB Mass Storage". In that mode, when you connect to a PC the PC takes the SD card as a removable drive and the phone doesn't see it anymore.

To change it click on the notification bar up top on the phone, then click the USB connection entry. Honestly, I'm not sure if you want PC mode or Windows Sync mode I haven't tried yet.
