So I got a replacement Droid the other day due to some GPS issues.

The new phone is great except for when I try to add new contacts they don't show up. I can find them through the search function, but they don't show up normally.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Go into your contacts
Go to Menu and choose Display Options

Under "Choose Contacts to Display" press the arrow next to your Gmail account

Make sure "System Group: My Contacts" is checked, otherwise it will only show contacts that have the "groups" (or Tags in Gmail terms) that you have selected. The contacts are actually there (as you noted by the fact that you can search for them), but you have the display of those contacts turned off.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried that out but it didn't work. I had two boxes that said system contacts but it didn't change anything.
I tried clicking some some other boxes but emails and whatnot popped up.
