can't get new razr to mirror

Hey -

I'm trying to mirror my new razr for the first time. Directions couldn't be simpler, but it's not working. Is there an order or a trick I should know about?

Should just plug n play, just have to switch your tv to whatever output its connected too.

Has there been an answer to this? I hooked up to the HDMI display using the correct cable and the Droid Razr recognize it. Unfortunately, it pops up a small window allowing you to select defaults but only leaves it on the screen for 1-2 seconds. Three options are available with the bottom one being mirror mode. If I am able to hit the option for mirror mode it does not accept it either because I am too slow, or the option has timed out. I have searched for another way to set defaults; but, have not found one thus far.
