[SOLVED] Can't cancel download in Market

Hi all,

I tried updating my Wordpress app from the Market. But it wouldn't try to download, even after several hours. So then I tried to cancel it. When I do, the Market app Force Closes on me. Then I uninstalled Wordpress from the Settings page. Still Force Closes.

I tried resetting the phone, then tried to cancel, same thing.

I tried battery pull for a minute, and tried to cancel, same thing.

Using a Verizon Droid 1 with Android 2.2 FRG01B

SOLVED by going to Settings and clearing the Market data.

Someone on these forums mentioned that you can longpress the download to cancel it and that works without the force close. I haven't tried it myself, but worth a shot if it happens again.
