can't access recover mode

I can get to the screen with the triangle and explanation mark by holding the X key when pressing the power at the same time
but nothing happens when I press the camera and the vol up button. I've tried a bunch of times with no success.
I just did a factory restore but that did not help.
Any idea's ?

are you rooted? or attempting to root?

I finally got into recovery mode. Pressing both keys at the same did not work but holding down the vol up key then pushing the camera button did work.
Was going to delete this thread but maybe it will help someone else.
