Cannot Access Text Msgs

I cannot access my messages - can't even get it to load. When I click on my messages icon it just says Loading... and nothing happens. No other problems - can get online, make a phone call, etc. Any suggestions?

Are you rooted or running stock Froyo? When did this start happening?

This is an old thread, but don't want to make an new one. Does anyone else have this problem described in the OP? My fiance and I both have an Incredible and he has this issue every couple weeks or so. The only fix for this is to hard reset the phone, which is a pain. Is there a fix for this problem or anything else you can help me with?

We are both rooted on 2.2, the only difference is I am on a different ROM.

That's an odd problem. Possibly a problem with the phone software?
