can you turn off vibrate when unlocking?

when I unlock the phone by sliding the lock to the right, it vibrates. Is there a way to turn that off so it doesn't vibrate?

You might be able to get a lock replacement app

If not, you can set a pattern to unlock. I don't think that vibrates

Oh, I didn't check it on the X. Checked it on the original droid. Didn't realize there was a difference.

That worked perfectly! I was looking for some way around this as the slide to unlock/vibration was annoying to me. This avoids that all together and I can still use the lock button on top when I'm done with the phone.

One thing regarding the pattern to unlock, is there a way to not display the pattern I trace when unlocking the phone? Just the paranoid freak in me that doesn't like the 1-2 second visible pattern that stays on the screen once I trace it.

Never mind, found the setting in the same submenu...it's crazy what I can find when I actually look!
