Can you put more than 4 apps on the dock?

Can you put more than 4 apps on the dock?
I've seen Samsung android phones having more than 4 apps on the dock.

Not with the stock launcher. You can download a home replacement app that will allow more than 4. Some with scrolling capabilities as well.

Try Go Launcher EX. It has a 5 app dock and can scroll left and right if you want even more than 5.

I like Go Launcher EX and will probably keep it.
But all my shortcuts and widgets are gone once I installed the Go Launcher. Is there an easy way to restore my original icons on the home screen from within Go Launcher?

You'd have to redo them (as far as I know). That's the drawback when switching launchers, app icons and locations don't carry over.

You'll have to add them to Go Launcher manually. They are still set up correctly on your stock launcher though. Download Home Switcher and you can switch back and forth.
