can i lock texts?

Hello. This is my first post here, so be kind. I tried to search for an answer but didnt find anything. Is there a way to lock/save a text conversation? I tried the "options" key and touched/held the message. I don't see an option to lock or save. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to forum. Good to have you here.

When you open the text message you want to save if you press and hold the very top option is to "lock message". It should be there. If you really want to save them i would recommend "sms backup" free from the market which saves them to your sd card so as not to accidentally lose them. just my .02
