My wife has a Droid Eris, fully updated, not rooted or anything. I checked for updates on the phone's settings menu last night. For the most part it is a good phone, but it occasionally becomes unusable. She will have a full signal, but calls won't connect, incoming or outgoing. When you pick up, nothing just dead air, I can't hear her, she can't hear me. Both our phones list the call as connected, and the "call" doesn't end till one of us disconnects, but there is no sound.
Rebooting usually fixes the issue, but sometimes not and a second reboot is needed. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix?
