I recently purchased a 3500 extended battery from amazon. I fully charged it as soon as I installed it, then drained the battery until it shut my phone off. Then i fully charged it again. The battery seems drain as fast as the stock battery according circle battery widget, but will run at 1% for several hours before finally shutting off. Is there a way to calibrate a battery this size for my droid 3?

I'm having the same issue... even better, when I turn the phone off and on again... the battery level goes up!

I didn't even see this post before I posted about the same thing. My stock battery seems to last longer...

I'm still at 5%, haven't plugged my phone in once, have used my phone for a few phone calls, browsing web a little, and texts. Anyone have any idea what I should do?

New Lenmar 2650 mah from Bestbuy.com. DroidX. Awesome runtime but battery gauge is now useless. I've full-cycled three times.

Will gauge ever calibrate itself to the new battery?
