Calendar Problem

Recently my Droid calendar app stopped working. When I select the app I get a message saying "The application Calendar (processcom.google.android.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I have a choice to force close or report. This happens every time I select it. Any suggestions?

I have been having the same problem with my calendar application for the past 3-4 weeks. I have done no explicit upgrades or tinkering with Android. Since it worked fine for the first 9 months, this is really frustrating, and seeing no solutions here is discouraging.
