Im not sure if im posting this in the right section, but im having an issue with my screen not turning off when i just tap the button, and I didnt change any of the default settings. Please help...I am some what of a n00b.

There is a setting in the spare parts app, I think it was "end button behavior," that if selected to do nothing, can cause your button to....do nothing. I'd check there first if you have it installed and put it back on sleep.
