I need a little help here and haven't found an answer anywhere yet..

I just upgraded my phone to the DX and want to sell my original Droid that is rooted, however I want to unroot it. I downloaded the 2.2 update from Google and put the file in the sdcard/root/update.zip and uploaded it and it turned out fine. Well I wanted to format my sdcard thinking I would be fine, but thats where I messed up at...

So now when I turn my phone on, its stuck at the Red Eye. When I hold X while turning it on, a white triangle w/ a yellow exclamation point in the middle shows up.

I have no idea where to go now with this and need help. I think I'm in the right forum..

Thanks!

move to a more appropriate area. OP, how come it says you have a Blackberry Tour in your phone description? You haven't changed it?

the fastest simplest way to unroot a droid is with droidmodupdater app.
DroidMod Updater 12 | DroidMod.org

I can't get to that. I had 2.2 on the Droid but when I formated my sdcard and rebooted the Droid, it gets stuck in the boot loop with the red eye symbol. Is there anyway I can add the necessary files to the sdcard so it will boot right back up?

Just kidding, I finally got it to work. Droid is back up and running! Thanks.
