Broadband Phone?

I was hoping for some help on what would seem to be a simple question.

Is the droid capable providing broadband connection to my laptop via a cable?

That is, can I connect the droid to my laptop and access the internet from the laptop.

Fully understanding that if yes, fees and limitations may apply.

I downloaded the ap and will give it a spin. It looks promising. Extra bonus points if it works via bluetooth as well as USB.
