bluetooth issues

my droid X pairs and connects with my Infiniti G37 coupe with navigation. but then does not stay functional. The phone book and dial pad come on and then go off. the phone is shown as connected even when you cannot access the phone book or dial screen. I really think it is the car since my wife's LG is doing the same thing but I thought I would try here also.

I'm not fortunate enough to have Bluetooth in my car but my Droids have never had trouble pairing with my Bluetooth headsets. On the other hand the people who do seem to have pairing issues usually have it with a car.

I'm having the same issue with my X and a Jawbone Icon. It pairs and unpairs all day.....especially during phone calls! Verizon says it's the BT so I exchanged the Icon and the new one does the same thing! I guess I got 2 bad Jawbones(sarcastic). I've about had it with Verizon! The iPhone is starting to look very tempting!
