Bluetooth after marshmallow

Since my marshmallow update my battery life is terrible if I leave my Bluetooth turned on. Never had any issues before the update, weather connected or not. Now its a battey hog! Anyone else having this issue?

Quite a few Motorola phone users have reported the same thing after Marshmallow; if your Bluetooth is always On it drains battery faster than it did in Lollipop.

I'm seeing something similar, Bluetooth is usually my top battery user according to the battery info screen. If I have it turned on, my phone never goes into Doze mode.
