Blue Droid for Tranquility 3.7

Blue Droid is a very detailed dark theme with blue highlights for Tranquility 3.7. There is a limited version of Blue Droid available in the Tranquility 3.7 toolbox. To get the complete Blue Droid experience you must install the version in this post. I am working on an update package that works with the custom theme feature of the Tranquility toolbox and hope to have it available soon.

The following system apps are themed in the full version:

• Contacts
• Dialer
• 3D Gallery
• Photo Widget
• News Widget
• Google Search Box
• Gingerbread Keyboard
• Settings
• Power Widget
• MotoTorch/Ringer Widgets

If you would like to see Blue Droid ported to another ROM, I gladly accept requests and I will see if I or someone else can do so in a reasonable amount of time. If you would like to use any of my themes or themed components, please PM me first to discuss. I work very hard to create my content and want to make sure it is always delivered in a way that goes with my original intentions.

As always, I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone and all mods, including this theme and all others, have the possibility of damaging your phone. I will do my best to support my theme and assist with any errors that may be caused by this theme. Please read all instructions and entire thread before installing. Important information can be within the thread in user posts. Please remember that I do this as a hobby after my full time job so please allow adequate time for me to respond to a question or issue.

Now available in Tranquility toolbox and bootstrap format. Apply the full Blue Droid for Tranquility through the preferred method by following the instructions for your method of choice below. You should always backup your system before installing any ROM or theme.

To install Blue Droid through bootstrap:

• Copy BlueDroid.zip to your sdcard
• Reboot into Bootstrap Recovery
• Install zip from sdcard
• Choose zip
• Browse and select zip
• Install zip
• When complete, use back button or power button to back up
• Reboot phone

To install Blue Droid through Tranquility toolbox:

• Copy BlueDroid.tar to Tranq/custom_themes/ directory on your sdcard (if it does not exist, create it)
• Open Tranquility toolbox
• Select "Theme Options"
• Select "Other Themes for Tranquility"
• Select "OK" to dismiss notification dialog
• Scroll to the right until you get to "Custom Theme" and select
  If you get an error saying there are no themes in the custom_themes directory, back out and correct the problem with the directory. It must be named correctly and in the correct location for it to see the themes.
• Select BlueDroid.tar
• Select "OK" to apply theme

Your phone will reboot as part of the installation

There is also a goodies pack that contains lots of icons, wallpapers, LP docks, and alternate fonts. To use the extra content in the goodies pack, download them into a folder on your sdcard.

• The goodies pack should be extracted onto you sdcard
• The icons can be applied using Launcher Pro, Desktop Visualizer, Folder Organizer, or one of the many other choices for icon customization.
• The docks can be used with Launcher Pro.
• The fonts are in flashable zips so once extracted, they can be flashed.
• The wallpapers are applied the normal way using the gallery selection or other tool.

To use the Widget Locker skins, download the zip file and extract it to an empty directory on your computer. Review the ReadMe.txt file in the extracted files for instructions on applying the skin. If you have any issues, please post your question to the thread or PM me. Please do not ask "How do I apply the Widget Locker skin?" before reading the ReadMe.txt in the zip file. I will direct you to read it and then come back and ask a specific question.

I love the Dark Android theme. I am going to try the Blue Droid soon. I have been trying to get the Green LauncherPro dock installed, but cannot. I have followed your instructions and deleted the .zip on the end and then used AppInstaller to install it and it looks the same as the original LauncherPro from the market. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The themed Launcher Pro gives you menu icons for Preferences and Notifications that go with the rest of the theme and provides themed widgets for LPP users. The dock is an image in the goodies pack that can be used with Launcher Pro by going into the preferences and setting a custom dock background.

Hi im new to this but i downloaded it and installed per instructions and now my browser wont work, and it wont charge through the usb cable aether please help.
