so back when i wanted to root my phone i flashed the sprecovery file to my droid now when i get the 2.2 ota ypdate it reboot to the sprecovery menu and says its blocked is there any way i can fix this?

if you are rooted and want the OTA update, you need to un-root. Once you do that, it won't block it anymore. That is, if you are looking to go back to stock Verizon roms.

I agree. You'll need to go back to stock to get the newest update.
