Even so this doesn't seem very appealing, if it was streaming it would be much more desirable. Though if I'm waiting 40minutes to download the movie, I can take the 5 mintues to transfer it from my desktop to my phone. More interested in Netflix where its a live stream and don't have to wait for the download times

huh? well the HD2 is out and well march 24th is long gone?

Look closely at the Droid X pics that were just released.

The app appears there. Last summer Moto and Blockbuster made an announcement last summer in regards to releasing this app on select Motorola Android phones.

Hey, I have a select Motorola Android Phone :)

And we all have great devs that keep it selected as the phone of choice!

I just got a deal at work, 5 bucks for 2 months of unlimited blockbuster movies online or in store plus a free DVD from their previously viewed collection in any store. And got 2 such packages. Available through the Droid would be cool, but I'd be more likely to watch it on the big screen the TV is connected to. Now....to have that Nexus hack on the Droid for usb video out, that would be cool with this.

The video he's downloading is 14gb..... Look close at video.

Either you have wifi/4g/or a 10 day dl......

Not to mention, if it isn't wifi, he's WAYYYY over the "unlimited" 5gb.....

That was showing 14.83 GB available memory left on the SD card.

I can't edit previous post, but I was thinking this app could be really useful with HDMI outs on the new Motorola.

I also heard that BB is coming, but as far as the icon on the droid X pic, their is a Blockbuster app now with the same icon, that just does some discount thing..

Blockbuster IMO is dying. This is a last ditch effort.

Redbox... Netflix.... OnDemand....
