Cyanogen is great. It is mostly stable, but they have really taken their mind off features and have focused more on stability. This is great. Most rom users know that if they wan't stability they turn to CM, or use a slightly modified version of their stock OEM skinned firmware, but what about creativity? What about customization. There are still a few roms out there that offer just that.

BlissPop is quickly gaining popularity in the Rom and Mod community. If you have not yet tried this rom you may want to give it a shot. They offer nightly builds and the rom is available for many devices. This rom is also CM12 based so you know it will be nice and stable, but it offers one of the most customizable experiences ever when it comes to roms in general. There is a long list of features including most of the standard rom features plus some not so standard features. Head to the link below to try this newer rom out on your device.

Cool. Good to know. I recall the days when using CM meant getting the latest software mods to your phone. I like that CM is becoming more stable, but it is always nice to try something with bugs if it has cool features few others are offering.

BlissPop is solid for sure.. Top notch support and development..

Been using BlissPop for a good while now on my OnePlus One. Extremely solid and feature packed! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

I'll put this on my N6 today. Been running CM12 since I got the phone but hey...never hurts to try new stuff.

Too funny, I've never associated CyanogenMod with 'stable'. I have always found other ROMs more stable than CM . I remember back in the days where they would come out with a ROM and say things like "everything works but the camera" and people would go crazy . Now the devs are sitting back making millions of dollars and trying to focus on stability . Damn I'm getting old.

Since they became a company focused on making money, their product needs to be more stable. I have ran a few versions recently that are supremely stable.

I am sure they're great now but you know how it is, you get a bad taste in your mouth for things and then you never try them again.

I still have CM running on my Xoom tablet (version 10 stingray) since they supported the device the longest. But it does randomly crash once in awhile.

I hear you. I have a Xoom kicking around running EOS. I don't use it often. I am running DirtyUnicorns on my phone right now. Getting ready to update to 5.1. Dropped the ball on that one.

I just booted the old girl just to see. Its been almost 3 years since an upgrade. Now I really feel old.

But back on topic for this thread I'm going to give BlissPop a look.

I think I will stick with stock again for a while. Root the SoaG and try the new Xposed Framework for LP. Maybe I will boot up my Xoom for the fun of it later.
