Bird Watching App

Corny, and true. As much as I love to soak up a little nature, having a nifty bird data/ID/tracking/something program would be GREAT! I have already found out a way to hunt the birds by using the Tricorder App. It works like a champ!

This really is a hole in the driod app kingdom. How bout a decent birding app like ibird???
There's cash to be made here, come on folks!

That is awesome! dancedroid I'll have to grab a couple.

iBird Pro was released a few weeks ago and it is awesome (there is a free version with just a few birds, and a "yard" version with a couple of hundred if you want to test out before spending $20 on the pro version).

Audubon Birds is good, but it takes forever to launch (over a minute on my Incredible) so by the time you get the app open, the bird has flown away. I prefer the id tools better in iBird as well though.

Bluebill looks interesting for tracking and access to additional song data, although no pictures for ID. I just learned of it in this thread, so haven't tested yet.
