Best notebook to buy?

Roughly how much did you want to spend?

What did you want to use it for. Gaming, just general web browsing, movies.....etc

What size screen were you looking for? Did you want more of a netbook (the smaller screens) or a notebook (the larger screens).

Don't know exactly what you're looking for but i just picked up one of these: ASUS G50Vt-X5 Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13GHz 4GB 320GB DVD±RW DL 15.4" Vista Home Premium HD Gaming Notebook w/Webcam & 6-Cell Asus G50VT-X5 G50V

Great gaming rig, and super cheap, they are refurbished, but mine was flawless. Doesn't have long battery life, 2.5hrs surfing web, or 1-1.5 gaming. But it is very powerful for the price. They were actually $50 more when i got mine a couple months ago.
