best file manager/explorer

whats the best file explorer out there?

i did a search in the market and theres a crapload of them. i dont want to have to sit here and download them all just to find one that works good.

I use quick finder and it works great! Defaults to the sd card which I like. Even warns you if you go away from the sd card.

ES File Explorer has been the best I've found... So Far

I've been having my own little "Showdown" on file managers. So far, ES and Astro are the remaining survivors. The way it looks, it will be a while before one actually loses :biggrin:.

SUFBS is the best for rooted devices

But Astro works fine otherwise.

For those looking for ES file explorer. It's listed in the market as "EStrongs file explorer", then it shows on your device as ES file explorer.

if you want an easy file explorer then try OI File Manager, its really basic but meets my needs, otherwise I'd go with Estrongs but that thing is huge comparatively

thanks for all the input guys it looks like ES File Explorer suits my needs the best... plus it has a built in task killer..

gotta love multi functional apps.
