I wanted to post the pics of my fascinate before and after the lagfix, it really is impressive the difference.

Yep I see them...browsing on my Droid using Dolphin. That's a huge difference and that second score den demolishes my Droid ;-) Are those scores (without and with the fix) typical of the Fascinate? Not familiar with that phone at all but color me impressed that a patch could make that big a difference...well no...my Droid saw a huge jump with 2.2.
 
It is default stock, rooted and applied the lagfix, what the lagfix does, is create an ext2 partition, and moves some system files to that partition, I think that is what creates the lag, that out of the box, it comes with fat32 partition.
 
no, that is a problem only with the samsung galaxy family, and this is a workaround for this issue, I have a droid 1, with a 2.2 rom, and I did the benchmark, it came out the same as a droid x can you beleive it?

ext2 not ext3? bummer, would be nice to have journaling. OK, this kind of has my thinking about the Galaxy S again. I want more screen than I have, just not the book which is the X.
