Battery Not Supported

I bought an extra set of batteries for my phone. When I put them it it says the batteries aren't supported on my phone. I assume that this means I won't be able to charge the batteries in the phone, just in their charger?

I also have issues with the screen staying on, and then the power button won't work with these batteries. Any reason for that?

I think you answered your question with the THREAD TOPIC

Thank you. Very helpful.....

I am wondering why the battery would mess with the screen. I bought samsung fascinate batteries, and the phone still runs with them in there...

they are nonOEM...Just flash any of the newer voodoo kernels that have the battery hack built in, like Comavolt ULV ot JT1134's newest....I run a nonOEM 3500 mah in mine no prob

Yeap every EC10 kernel has the non oem battery hack so it can be charged in the phone and disabled the pop up.
