Anybody able to deposit checks with your phone? Never had problems with galaxy nexus but both of our droid maxxs can't take good enough pictures for the app. Already wrote to boa developers and waiting for reply.

Hit or miss. I was able to do a regular/personal sized check but not a large one from my insurance company. I received 2 large checks and both would not work on the front of the check, but worked on the back.

My guess is that it's too big, given the stock app's over-limitations.

Well I've tried in a lot more brighter settings prior to actually trying to move camera further away. The focus I can't do anything about as its automatic.
This was my only concern about this phone as I do a decent amount of mobile deposits.

Ok, it would seem that the app may rely on an existing macro setting, which the Ultra series lacks. Brilliant planning.
