It could be forum runner. I have the same perceived issue with tapatalk.. it looks like its gone, but its not. To be sure, log on to the site through your browser and look on your page. See what it shows...

This has been reported quite a bit in others phones. For me it started a couple weeks before ICS. Someone posted that you can get the images and avatars to display if you go into settings (you have to be on the "forums" tab or the "current" tab to get to DF settings) and then clear image cache. That works for me but you have to do it each time you open DF.
