Automatic brightness issue?

Anyone else seen a constant up/down on screen brightness when set to automatic? I've just now set the phone to stay at 75% full to see what difference that makes, but wondering if anyone else has seen this. It's subtle but noticeable enough to be annoying.

If the amount of light is right on that threshold between two levels of brightness, silght variations in lighting can cause it to go back and forth. Even something as simple as shadows cast by leaves swaying in the wind can cause this, as your phone goes in and out of shadow.
