Audible tones are being heard before dialing a number.

As of yesterday for some reason I am hearing audible tones before dialing a number. It's like 4 to 7 fast tones then the phone dials the number.
Any suggestions?

Go to ....

HomeScreen
> Press Menu button
>> Select 'Settings'
>>> Select 'Sound & display'
>>>> Check (or Uncheck) 'Call Connect'


This should change the feature you are describing. Your phone probably updated and the default may have changed, or you may have shifted the choice without realizing what it was.
