There's a new system update for the VZW s4 as well, I just checked. Not downloading yet though.

As has been reported here in another thread, the Verizon software upgrade to VRUAME7 became available yesterday via the Software Upgrade Assistant. Today it became available via OTA.

Note that, as dezymond said, this removes (at least temporarily) the ability to root the phone.
