Asurion Mobile Recovery

I have mobile recovery app installed which is free if you carry Asurion equipment protection but im noticing some serious drain on the battery of my DroidX. In the battery manager its the second highest behind display. The longest setting for gps sync is 60mins nothing more. Is anyone else seeing issues with battery drain using this program?

not used this app but my guess would be that part of is that you have your gps on all the time for it to use it ever hour. i would suggest using mylookout its a great app it does back up for contacts pics and calls also does location if you lose your phone and you can make the phone go off if its on silent if you know you have lost it in your house or close by. but i have done the locate function with no gps turned on and it found my phone within about 30 feet of where it was at just off of the vzw signal
