I just checked my claim that was on back order for a few days and it's ready to ship whenever I complete my claim. Just thought I'd give a heads up to everyone. I don't know if it's a refurb or new phone in stock. I asked the rep if they were ever completely out of stock and she told me that it would NEVER be COMPLETELY out of stock, that they would just put you on back order and if it went over a week they may be able to work something out with a VZW store. So yes, it is ridiculous that we have to wait on backorder or accept a crappier phone, but it doesn't appear to be as doom and gloom as the long thread was making it out to be. I was actually only on backorder for a few days (filed my claim sunday night/monday morning) and according to the rep they will carry the phone until they don't make anymore. Just a heads up.
