I installed live wallpapers on smoked glass 4.5 and I love it but I have read other posts about live wallpapers that were available in the market. When I search I can't find any. So are there other live wallpapers?

On the Market. You have to edit your build.prop to see them.

How do you do that?

you need to make the market think you have a nexus one, I would assume you change your build version from 2.0.1 to 2.1, but I'm guessing.

Actually, I just tried it out, and thats it. If you go in to system folder in your phone you will see build.prop, open it up in a text editor and change 2.0.1 to 2.1 and search for live wallpapers in the market, I just did it and it works fine, whether the wallpapers will work is unsure.

Yep, they work

Pull it from /system, edit it with notepad or a text editor on your PC.

The line that says ro.build.version.sdk=6, change it to ro.build.version.sdk=7.

Push it back to /system and reboot.

is that what they're saying to do? I just changed my version number /shrug

but if you don't have it I recommend root explorer, very nice app to look at your entire file structure, even lets you mount and unmount system with 1 button clicks, and has a built in text editor, so just long press build.prop, scroll down, and open it in text editor, really nice program.

Considering the apps look for the sdk version, yes.

I hear ya, but apparently you can change either, cause I didn't touch my SDK version and I can see them.

nevermind, apparently mine was already 7 for some reason, don't know how, maybe the live wallpapers rom idk.

Did you reboot your phone after the change? If you didn't thats why you cant see them yet.

Make sure you are editing the correct Build.Prop, check the one in the System Folder. I have a Build.prop that is sitting on my SD Card that I think was left over from a previous Rom, use Root Explorer and find the Build.Prop in the System Folder and edit the SDK=6 to SDK=7 and that will do it.
