Are all root methods equal?

I've seena couple different processes here and in other DX related forums/sites.

Does it matter which one I choose?

Do all methods use the same unroot process? Or is the unroot process different depending on the root process?

The unroot process can be slightly different depending on how you root, but the general actions are the same -- 1-touch vs terminal emulator vs ADB.....

But Root == Root == Root no matter how you achieve it.

The steps needed based on your phone and version of android are what can be different. The steps for the DX with 2.1 are different than with 2.2.
