apps2sd and swap??

i have searched google and this forum but cant find anything on apps to sd where can i find it and also is there a tutorial on making a swap partition and is there anything speacial i would need for either of these??

you need to be running a rom that supports apps to SD. like cyanogen.
what rom are you currently on.

im running droidmod 1.0 atm

yeah that rom does not support apps to SD. i suggest cyanogen mod rom or ultimate droid. go to the market and get ROM manager for free, to get cyanogen. then you can install cyanogen easily. please note that doing a sd partition will format yor sd card. so back up your stuff on your computer first.

its in the rom manager app select partion sd card.

and aslo read that you need a certain class of sdcard and not all will work with droid swap

That's actually incorrect Class 2 will work just fine.

I've been running apps2sd for a few days now without issue. Works perfectly.

CK class 2 is the sd card that comes with the phone correct?

nor do i see droid swap anywhere

then when done with that go to applications and check the box.

well installed cyanogen and its in a start up loop tried a battery pull didnt work should i reinstall it??
