Apps on Homescreen I want gone

I still want these apps, but they are showing up my left home screen. I want the apps, but don't want the google search and youtube bars on my left homescreen.

How do I remove them without deleting the app?

How do I remove them without deleting the app?

Put your finger on the icon you want to remove and drag it
into the waste basket below (the tab you push to open your icon tray),
it also serves as a trash can like on a windows pc. Just drag and drop
in waste can.

When it changes color, drop in basket.
