Application Question

I just got a xoom and after signing in I noticed that it synced my applications from my phone. I was wandering if it was possible to delete them from my xoom but still have them backed up for my phone? I basically want to know if Google seperates phone and tablet apps since I will be wanting two seperate sets of apps.

Yes, you can safely delete from your Xoom and they will stay on your phone. Android Market keeps track of both devices.
