That's not what I am after. I have a little one that love to play games and every time he plays I end up with more games downloaded. I just to be able to block downloads when he has my phone and the have the ability to still download when I want to download something.

I think I just found my fix....airplane mode

Can you freeze the market app with titanium or another similar program, poontab? Never tried it on market app.

FootballRef, that may be an option as well.

Yep or rename market.apk to market.bak to achieve the same results.

Titanium backup pro is an excellent app. to quick freeze the market.
