App for running things in the home?

Is there an app along with hardware to run things in the home like lights and security??

You should check with the manufacturer of your control unit(s) to see what they offer. I haven't come across of any 3rd party (i.e. generic) apps that will tie into all the systems (or any actually). OEM is your best bet for this.
