anyone who has better keyboard-help please

I just downloaded the newest update for better keyboard and for some reason now it doesn't auto correct when I make a mistake. For example if I'm trying to type "what" and by accident I type "whay" it doesn't auto correct when I press the space bar. I looked through the settings but I don't know. Any ideas?
