Anyone turn off animations?

I was wondering if anyone turns off animations in the settings and if this would lead to a even more responsive and lag free experience. Anyone try this out? I think I might give it a shot.

I did, I think it does. I dont care for any of that. I always turn off the 3d app list too, It runs better for me and i dont care for it.

How do you turn off the 3d app list? Is that an option? Or rather, how do you turn it on. Mine isn't 3d.

Stock launcher. Possible? Did I miss a setting?

i turn animations off and can definitely feel an improvement in speed, at least in menu navigation

I just turned off animations and apps seem to open a little quicker. I didn't know that was an option
