anyone know of an SMS app that isn't handcent or chomp?

unless someone knows of a way to do some hardcore graphical edits to either of those 2 programs (or even the default)...id love to find a clean and simple text messaging app. please! there must be a third (or forth? maybe 5th?) option!!
