Anyone know how to get a discount on verizon accessories for my Droid?

Employee discount through their job, through their employer, like I work for a hospital and through my job I can get discounts on my bill and accessories, that's how I would do it

ECPD. Corporate discount. Your company has to have an ECPD profile which entitles you to discounts off of service and accessories.

Credit Unions often have discounts as well.

I get it by working for the Federal Government. I also get discounts at other places too for other items such as weapons.dancedroid

Check with your provider to find out if your company or organization is eligible for discounts on accessories and service.

I don't trust them. They might say they are OEM products, but they are chinese knock offs that look EXACTLY like OEM. Same logos and everything.

i bought my OEM car charger on amazon for like $3, i regret not buying two more for my other cars.

Amazon is the same thing. They sell "OEM" stuff that is not authentic because Amazon is just a website to access of a ton of sellers.

I don't trust these things because a friend of mine bought a car charger from ebay that said OEM and looked exactly the same, but overcharged his battery and it died.

lol i assure you mine is OEM, as stated in the package it came in compared to the one i saw at Verizon and Best Buy.

Another way you can tell if the item is legit or not is by checking the actual vendor. Amazon clearly states where it is from and also gives you other choices. If you're that concerned about the high price and refuse to pay less at the risk of not getting an OEM product you're at a loss.

Employee discount through my work is 22% off plan and 25% off accessories, I wish Verizon would give discounts on phones. Maybe their employees do but not sure.

When I lived in MI, my neighbor was an auto engineer for GM. They had reports of many of these non-OEM charging cords getting hot and melting, and in some cases actually starting fires inside vehicles.

For me, I will stay with OEM or those supplied by Verizon. Just comparing them against those cheap ones you can purchase at truck stops tells a story. A definite difference in wire size and quality.

They are not knock offs. Maybe you got bad ones. All the stuff I got was original. Just make sure you buy from American sellers. Ebay has the best deals on original equipment accessories for your droids. Check it out and don't pay Verizons high prices.
