Any way to port themes from liberty?

Is it possible to port a theme from liberty to angel's theme or fission?

Is it possible to port a theme from liberty to angel's theme or fission?

I've tried with no luck. The frameworks have different paths I think.(terminology?) I was able to use 7zip to access the framework-res.apk and swap out .png's, in a way recreating a theme from liberty using one from fission, if that makes sense. Also, some themed apps from liberty do work on angelrom.

Thats what I have done.
Open the framework-res.apk on the theme and on the new rom (system/framework/framework-res.apk)
navigate to framework-hdmi on both
Swap images, you can chance it by moving the whole folder, but I would check to make sure you have the same number of images on both sides to prevent problem.
