DL Zedge from the market, and there a few different versions of it to chose form.

Google search for droid.ogg. Easy to find.

You can also download Mabilo and search in there.

get the app "zedge". Much easier and has many many other "droid" ringtones that are better!!!!

You can put it in any folder you want. Astro file manager will let you set it as a ringtone. long press the file, select music options, then set as ringtone. not sure if that lets you use it as a "notification" ringtone though.

You cant drop it in a system folder, no root access(yet). If you can't get it set as a notification then I would go with the "Zedge" route. good luck

its doesnt seem to let you set it as a notification on for calls

i did DL zedge but the quality is no where near the Mot Droid D R O I D.

is there a way to get a better quality one? i see a bunch there but not sure if they are all the same?

or is the Mabiloones better too?

the "droid" sound on zedge uploaded by "mariel19701970" sounds pretty good. i'm trying to upload my stock sound but its freezing up for some reason. just search for "droid" and it should be the second one on the list

While on the subject, can someone who is rooted pull the Moonbeam notification sound off their droid and post it or send it to me? I used that as my notification for everything on the Droid, but the Incredible doesn't have it.

you can also create a set of folders on your SD card:

media/audio/ringtones
put the ringtone or any MP3 in the ringtone folder,
they will show up on your ringtones list!

you can do another folder for notifications too...
