Any Custom Multimedia Docks?

I'm curious as to whether or not any of MacGyver type members of the droid nation decided to forgo the $30 multimedia dock and construct one of their own. I'm a poor college post-grad who can't justify shelling out the cash when all you need is DockRunner and a little ingenuity.
